Grape? Cherry? Watermelon? Sour Apple? So many wonderfully delicious choices! Ease the wrapper off (maybe keep it on the stick, maybe not - just depends on the mood). Flavor burst! As the sucker part gets smaller and smaller, you know it's coming: the gum. Planned perfectly, you know you're gonna get the candy crunched up into little pieces inside the gum as you chew it, releasing more flavor with each chomp.
But wait! Is the gum stuck to my crown? Is the crown moving? I think I feel it moving. Oh no, that's going to hurt so badly if the gum pulls my crown off - and I cannot afford a trip to the dentist right now. Ugh - I better just skip the gum part altogether. I miss being a kid.
